Introduction to Mote's Speech-to-Text transcription

We’re excited to introduce Mote's Translation Read-Aloud (TRA) feature to kick off the next section of the Accommodations course! This feature allows teachers to share voice recordings that can be read aloud in multiple languages.

This tool significantly benefits language learning by making feedback more accessible and inclusive for multilingual learners and their families.

A few notes about Mote’s Translation Read-Aloud:

• The video shows Translation Read-Aloud in the Chrome extension, but the same functionality works in most other Mote integrations, including Google Docs and Google Classroom.
• The language you choose will translate the text transcript accordingly.
• Mote’s TRA play button has changed color from white to purple since the video was recorded.
