šŸ—£ļø Introducing Voice Typing with Mote

One of Mote’s newest integrations on its Sidebar is voice typing! This tool allows users to seamlessly and instantly turn speech into text, saving time and fostering easier self-expression.

Voice typing is an excellent option for both teachers and students. Students who struggle to express their ideas when writing are given a tool that encourages using voice, breaking down obstacles for individuals who may have difficulties using keyboards. By converting speech-to-text, students can instantly record answers in one straightforward step.

šŸŽ™ļø Activating Voice Typing

Access and use the Voice typing tool with the following simple steps:

Step 1ļøāƒ£: Click the Mote extension to open the Sidebar and click the microphone button.
Step 2ļøāƒ£: Start talking! When you feel you’ve finished expressing yourself, press the check mark.
Step 3ļøāƒ£: On most pages, your text will automatically be pasted wherever your cursor is. While on a website that doesn’t have a text box that Mote can identify, users can copy and paste or drag and drop the generated text.

Mote’s Voice typing tool promotes expression and gives students the confidence to share their thoughts clearly. For teachers, Mote allows for more efficient and explicit communication across platforms. Whether used for drafting reflections, capturing quick ideas, or supporting learners with writing challenges, this tool opens up new possibilities for voice-driven learning.

As with all of Mote’s features, the goal is to make communication more inclusive, accessible, and efficient. Voice typing is a powerful addition to your digital toolkit that helps all users focus more on their ideas and less on the mechanics of getting them down on the page!
