With the Mote extension installed, users can listen to messages with dynamic audio players that offer playback speed, text transcription, and translation features. If Mote is installed on their Chrome browser, users can also have audio read aloud in a new preferred language on Google Classroom.

Google Classrooms for Users without Mote Installed

The experience for users without Mote installed differs slightly. Clicking mote hyperlinks, regardless of where on Google Classroom, will bring individuals to a separate landing page with the same speed, transcription, translation, and read-aloud options. Overall, users experience minimal differences with or without Mote installed, and the same accessibility and inclusivity features are offered in both scenarios.
