How to Use Text Prediction

Let’s walk through how to effectively use Mote’s Text Prediction feature.

Using Text Prediction

Text Prediction is your tool for scaffolded writing support.

1️⃣ Step 1: Navigate to Writing Mode
Click the top icon in the Mote sidebar to open Writing Mode. You’ll know you’re in Writing Mode when the pen icon is showing.

2️⃣ Step 2: Start typing
Once you click the text prediction icon, you can type immediately. As you type, you will see words suggested based on phonetic spelling and context.

3️⃣ Step 3: Select a suggested word
Either click, or type the corresponding number next to the suggested word that you want to use.
