How to Use Voice Typing

Let’s walk through how to effectively use Mote’s Voice Typing feature.

Using Voice Typing

Voice Typing is your tool for speech-to-text generation.

1️⃣ Step 1: Navigate to Writing Mode
Click the top icon in the Mote sidebar to open Writing Mode. You’ll know you’re in Writing Mode when the pen icon is showing.

2️⃣ Step 2: Start dictating
Once you click the voice typing icon, you can begin speaking immediately.

3️⃣ Step 3: Insert your dictated text
When you’ve finished speaking, press the check mark. Your text will either paste directly into your text field or copy to your clipboard to paste wherever you need.
