📌 Pinning the Mote Chrome extension to your toolbar

To quickly access the Mote Chrome extension, it’s best to pin it to your browser toolbar. Will Jackson shares the easy steps to do this in the mote message below:

Enabling Speech-to-Text with Mote

1️⃣ Click the Mote extension icon at the top of your Chrome browser to open the Motepad recorder. Make sure the 'Speech-to-text' toggle is on. You’ll also see a background noise remover and record on URL options; however, these features are unnecessary for producing transcribed audio messages with Mote.

2️⃣ Use the blue text next to the flag icon to select the language you'll be speaking. The extension's speech recognition feature helps identify various languages, accents, and speaking styles, making materials more accessible and inclusive for all learners.

3️⃣ Record your audio message by clicking the large Mote icon and then the check mark once you're done. Mote quickly produces accurate text transcriptions based on your recorded, generated, and uploaded audio messages. These transcriptions can then be edited, copied, and translated by the person who creates the mote message before or after sharing it with listeners.
