What this Feature Does

Google Classroom Class Import pulls a teacher's existing classes into Mote, mapping students to their teachers without anyone re-entering them. Rosters that already exist in Google Classroom become Mote classes, ready for the Class Dashboard and Teacher Feature Controls.

Why it Matters

  • Removes the setup work that stops teachers using class features at all
  • Classes are correct from the start, because they come from the roster the school already maintains
  • Teachers get to usage data and feature controls in minutes rather than after an admin project
