MTSS tier 2:
Multimodal live translation supports ELLs by simultaneously displaying both English transcription and text and read aloud translation, exposing students to language. This helps to:
- Build vocabulary by connecting words in their native language to English equivalents
- Develop reading fluency through exposure to spoken and written English alongside their own language
- Gain confidence to participate in class without fear of missing key information
