What this feature does:

Open PDFs from Google Drive adds a Google Drive file picker to the Mote PDF web app. Sign in with Google, browse or search your Drive, and open a PDF directly in Mote PDF — Mote handles the OAuth and streams the file without you having to download and re-upload it.

Why it matters:

  • Teachers and students already keep their documents in Google Drive — this removes the download/upload round-trip
  • Files stay in place, so there's no duplicate copy to manage or lose track of
  • Gets any Drive-hosted PDF into Mote's accessible reader in two clicks
